 Description: In this hands-on workshop, site owners will learn how to create document libraries and lists within Grinnellshare team sites. Participants will learn how to add metadata and columns to libraries and list to more easily sort, filter and view items. Participants will also learn how to create content types and add relevant columns to the content type.

This workshop is open to anyone who has already completed Intro to GrinnellShare part 1 and part 2.

Participants will also learn how to customize the quick launch navigation bar. In addition, participants will learn how import an Excel spreadsheet into a custom list.

 Description: A GrinnellShare workflow can boost team productivity by leveraging automation to increase efficiency. In this workshop you will learn how your manual office procedures might be converted into automated custom workflows using Microsoft SharePoint. You will create a three–state workflow using the built-in SharePoint template and a simple workflow using SharePoint Designer to send email notifications.

This workshop is open to Site Owners who have attended Managing Sites sessions.

 Description: This session will be structured as a drop-in session where individuals can come and work on the GrinnellShare Site(s) that they are trying to develop. Individuals can come any time during the four hours and work for four hours, two hours, one hour or 15 minutes.

Sign up is not necessary but appreciated, especially if you plan to stay for a large chunk of the time so that we know we will have enough computers and assistants available.

 Description: This is a mandatory training for new employees (staff and faculty) hired since Fall of 2013. At this session, participants will learn about their role in preventing discrimination and harassment, supporting individuals who disclose harassment, and how Grinnell policies and procedures relate to Title IX and the SaVE act.

Objectives:

• Review College policy

• Gain an understanding of bystander behavior and your role

• Gain an understanding of the resources available to victims of harassment and your role in supporting them

• Gain an understanding of what constitutes discrimination and harassment and how to report it
